At the 2022 Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting, the AME20 committee awarded the Best Up-and-Coming Paper award to the "Is Travelling to Work Gender Neutral? An Analysis of Women Commuting Times in Latin America." The paper is authored by Desiree Becerra Armada, Laureen Montes Calero, and Valera Bernal, all from the Inter-American Development Bank.
