TRB conducted a webinar on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET that discussed women’s issues in transportation, including transport policy, patterns, and mobility; health, safety, and personal security; sustainability; and transportation impacts on careers. This webinar is based on the Fifth Conference on Women's Issues in Transportation held in Paris, France in April 2014. Issues that were discussed include gender research, how to convert research findings into policy, and narrowing the gap between developed countries and developing ones.
